Obituary of David C Reynolds
David C. Reynolds (73) resident of Harrison, ID passed away on November 4, 2018 in the Philippines. He was born October 22, 1945 in Kellogg, ID to James C. and Ruth Reynolds. When David was 2 years old, his mother passed away James remarried Agnes Christensen, who helped raise him along with his father. David attended school at Pinehurst Elementary and Junior High. He graduated from Kellogg Sr. High School with the class of 1965. Following high school, he attended technical school in Spokane, WA.
David married Karol Knox of Kellogg in February 1965. Together they had 2 children, Gayle and Jay. David’s career took him to Idaho, Washington, Arizona, and back to Washington State. He was employed as a telephone and television technician and later as a truck driver. David settled in the Seattle/Tacoma area where he met his current wife Weng.
In 1978 David had purchased a small farm on the Harrison Flats. After retiring, he and Weng spent summers on the farm, and winters in the Philippines.
David is survived by his wife Weng, son Jay Reynolds of Arizona; brothers Roger Reynolds of Dennison, TX and Dale Reynolds of Harrison, ID; and sister Darlene Lagerquist of Harrison, ID; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father James Reynolds, mother Ruth Reynolds, step-mother Agnes Reynolds, daughter Gayle Reynolds, and sisters Lora Jean Reynolds Rowe and Marguerite (Maggie) Reynolds.
A funeral service is planned for Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries, ID. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends to share a meal and fellowship will follow interment at the Harrison Grange.
