Obituary of Jesse John Brebner-Wilkinson
Jesse John Brebner-Wilkinson (33) passed away near St. Maries, ID on January 12, 2025. He was born to Deborah Shaver and Tommy Wilkinson on March 1, 1991, in St. Maries. Jesse was born with adventure in his soul and was kind-hearted but burdened, and at most times he was too smart for his own good. He grew up in St. Maries and attended school up until mid-high school. School became boring to Jesse, which opened him up to some troubles, so he left high school early to become home schooled by his mother in the K-12 Academy.
Jesse received his GED and completed 2 years of college at Walla Walla Community College. He became certified and went to work in HVAC and worked his way to Foreman with Air Design out of Spokane. Jesse’s happy place was the outdoors, and he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, swimming, rock hounding, fishing, camping, and digging for fossils. Most importantly, he loved his family fiercely and his dog Stella. It seemed as if Jesse was everybody’s little brother. Although he was usually up to some kind of mischief, he was well liked and loved by most who met or knew him. He had a sense of humor like no other, and you could count on being surprised by some of the things that might come out of his mouth. Jesse kept everyone on their toes and entertained. Despite his bright smile, he often seemed to be carrying a heavy burden of personal struggles.
Jesse was not just kind hearted; this young man wore his heart on his sleeve. He was like a magnet to people, liked and loved by most all. He was so smart; like a walking dictionary. There wasn’t anything that a person could ask him that he didn’t have an answer for and being 100% true to his words.
Jesse is survived by his fiancé Mallory Arlt of St. Maries; his children Jess McNeill, Silas Arlt, Delilah Arlt, and Liam Farrell; parents Tommy Wilkinson of Las Vegas, NV and Deborah Spray of St. Maries, ID; siblings Bethanne Brebner and Richard Brebner both of St. Maries, ID and LaTeesha George of Kellogg, ID; grandmother Valerie Shaver of St. Maries, ID; in-laws Carl and Leanda Arlt of Harrison, ID; sister in-law Brittney Norgaard of Harrison, ID; good friend Leilani Reed; nieces and nephew Sabrina Hansen, Aubrey Hansen, Kale Hansen, and Keyloni George; several aunts and uncles; and good friends of which to many to list.
